Craig Buboltz - Certified Hypnotherapist and Coach
My Journey Into Hypnosis and Sports Performance
I started Top Sport Hypnosis as a result of a hiking expedition with two psychiatrists who introduced me to self-hypnosis. At the same time I discovered top athletes were using the same hypnotic techniques to enhance their sports performance. I was intrigued to why something so powerful is not being used by all athletes, but also for anyone who wants to improve their physical and mental well-being.
When searching for more insight on hypnosis I discovered Hypnosis Motivation Institute (HMI) the oldest and only accredited school in the United States for training in the field. I took the 101 class and within weeks decided to enroll in their Clinical Hypnotherapy Program graduating with honors as a certified Master Hypnotist and Hypnotherapist.
My goal from my first day at HMI until the day I graduated was simple: to find the link between flow state and hypnosis. The journey was absolutely fascinating—once you discover the connection and witness its effects, you can't help but wonder why every mental coach doesn't use this tool to break through mental barriers and teach athletes how to control their emotions and mental states with hypnosis.

The program I’ve created is born from a clear crossover I observed between traditional mental coaching, ancient Eastern philosophy with breathwork, meditation, and mindfulness, and the widely used theory of mind applied by thousands of hypnotherapists worldwide.
I draw on over 25 years of experience in education and coaching, combined with hypnotherapy, to introduce athletes to elite mental performance. If you’d like to share your story, book a discovery call — I’d love to hear about your sport, challenges, and goals, and discuss how I can help.
